Greetings!
I am Angela Sims-Winfrey (she/her; we/us/our) Community Empowerment Director and Lead Counselor/Coach of Divine Empowerment Leadership and Family Development Institute, Inc.; and Certified Life and Leadership Coach/Divine Transit Life and Leadership Development Coaching. I specializes in personal growth, leadership development, relationship, and spiritual formation. Our coaching interactions are in-person (proximity near Southeast Atlanta), telecoaching, and via virtual online platforms. In addition to being a Professional Life, Leadership, Executive Coach, I am also a Pastoral Counselor, certified Dialogue Education Practitioner, Personal Life Transformation and trauma-informed, evidenced-based Curriculum and Learning Designer, Developer and Facilitator.
As a servant leader, I have shared my spiritual gifts, skills, and divine works over 30 years nationally and internationally in community involvement, organizing, leadership development, spiritual formation, personal, community empowerment and development.
My inaugural book, “Livin’ Out of Boxes, Lettin’ Go of Bags: A Spiritual Journey of Divine Empowerment,” shares a healing and reflective journey of how I was able to “push pass my growing edges” and rise above the changes and challenges in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina through real-time lessons of Faith in Action.
